Ingolf Watzlaw studied architecture in Dresden, Lisbon and St. Louis / Mo as well as stage design in Berlin. Since 2000. From 2003 until 2008 he was assistant professor at the architecture department of the University Cottbus (BTU), were he researched and taught the relation between space, picture, graphic and the human body .
2009 together with the choreographer Claudia Garbe and the composer Daniel Vezza he established the ensemble → possible.movement, whitch deals with the intermedial communication between graphic, sound and movement.
In his work he deals with the relation between occasion, object and beholder, with the evidence of shape and with the connection between imagination and reality.
He lives and works in Berlin.
